I just put a little clear tape inside the clasp over where Rolex is written. I cut down to size and layered until the noise stopped. Not the prettiest fix but I’d rather see the tape once a day than listen to that noise all the time!
New to the forum and have a 5 year old Rolex Day-Date with President bracelet. The clasp doesn't close as tight as it should. Will sometimes pop open when worn, or come loose enough that I need to push on the bracelet to get it to fully "snap" back into place. Anyone know how to safely correct this?The Oysterclasp is found most commonly found on watches from Rolex's Classic series, such as the Datejust and Oyster Perpetual models, which are Rolex's everyday timepieces and thus not expected to be used in such challenging environments like the Professional series watches.It's not unwearable loose, but note that a loose bracelet will wear out the bracelet and cause stretch quicker. The bracelet does have some stretch, but I wear it loose enough to fit my index finger between my wrist and bracelet. The bracelet still has plenty of wear left in it. As said previously, the new bracelets are much less prone to stretch due to the solid links.
When adding in a link to the 6 o'clock side, and adjusting the Easylink micro-adjustment to its tightest position, the bracelet was looser than with the bracelet link removed and the Easylink micro-adjustment to its loosest position (both instances with the Easylink closed). 2.Dubbed the "Daytona Beach" collection, these vibrant chronographs donned pink, turquoise, green, and yellow exotic leather straps. Easy link is 5mm of adjustment, the same as one of the notches inside the clasp, so yes, taking the spring bar out a notch and closing easy link will result in the same size bracelet.
