Just get a cape cod cloth. It will take the scratches right out. Also you should send it in to Rolex ever few years for a service and polish. Brushed links are better for daily wear IMO. Love the BCLs on my old 16710s and 16610. PCLs are nicer looking (for a while at least) but they get scratched easily and start to look a little beat up after a while.
It does look good my friend, but I actually like the way the BLNR looks with PCLs. I thought about brushing them, but I've grown to like them. The simplest method (assuming you are asking because you do not have a proper polishing machine) is to tape off the polished sections you do NOT want brushed & use a Bergeon 5444-A (fine) polishing block to apply an OEM-style satin texture.
I've worn my sub daily for a year and more and I can say that's pretty normal. Although some of those are pretty intense, mine's more of hairline scratches (and I don't baby my watches). Maybe the PCL shows it more, my daytona's scratches also .
So recently picked up a GMT and while I like the PCL think a brushed bracelet would look better, less blingy and would fit my lifestyle better. Issue I. A post online about a Daytona that was worn for 5 years by a restaurant owner pushed me over the edge to say screw it, and get the GMT master with the PCL. Reason for this post: The reason I am posting this, is not to show off my watch, not to make you afraid of scratches, none of that.
